A client of SouthDesk is seeking a highly motivated Sales Development Representative fluent in English to join their swimming pool construction company. As the primary point of contact for prospective clients, you will play a critical role in driving business growth by generating and nurturing leads through cold calling, texting, emailing, and developing an effective sales process. Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation: Proactively scrape and qualify leads from Google and other online sources to identify potential clients, including businesses and homeowners interested in pool construction. Cold Calling: Initiate outbound calls to engage potential clients, pitch our pool construction services, and build rapport to convert leads into opportunities. Texting & Emailing: Communicate with prospects via text and email to follow up on leads, schedule consultations, and maintain consistent contact throughout the sales funnel. Sales Process Development: Collaborate with ownership to design and refine a scalable sales process tailored to the pool construction industry, optimizing lead conversion and client satisfaction. Customer Relationship Management: Track and manage leads using CRM software, ensuring accurate records of interactions and progress. Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and customer preferences to enhance outreach strategies.
Requirements
Fluency in English: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English are the top priority to effectively engage with clients and convey the value of our services. Proven experience in cold calling, lead generation, or sales development (preferably in construction, home improvement, or related industries). Comfortable using Google and other online tools to scrape and qualify leads. Strong organizational skills and proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) or willingness to learn. Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with texting and email outreach strategies for professional communication. Knowledge of the pool construction or home improvement industry is a plus but not required.
Qualifications
1-2 years of experience in sales, telemarketing, or customer outreach preferred. Ability to adapt to feedback and continuously improve outreach techniques.
