The IT Senior Director is a pivotal role that oversees the direction, planning and administration of an organization's technological area. This position involves ensuring compliance with technology policies, standards and procedures to establish clear guidelines for system operation, programming and design. Key responsibilities include reviewing and prioritizing new systems implementations, estimating costs and allocating resources efficiently. Regular communication with management is crucial to keep them informed about technology developments and project progress. An additional aspect of this role is automating and optimizing company processes through cost-benefit analysis to implement solutions that improve operational efficiency. Effective budget management is also essential, ensuring efficient use of financial resources. The ideal candidate should have advanced proficiency in English, strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience in network infrastructure, server administration, virtualization, storage systems, and data center operations. A proven track record in successfully managing IT projects from conception to completion is also desirable. Relevant certifications such as CCNA, MCSA, VCP, or ITIL are a plus. Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team, are required. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing regional standards and projects with coherence and alignment of local initiatives with regional guidelines. They must possess solid understanding of ITIL framework and best practices for IT service management. Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus. Minimum of 8 years of experience as IT Manager, with at least 3 years in a leadership role, is also required.
