The Area Sales Representative is responsible for achieving sales objectives by implementing the company's commercial strategy, promoting the company's image, and ensuring full customer satisfaction. The role involves creating long-term value by developing organizational solutions that align customer satisfaction with business goals. Key Accountabilities - Ensure the achievement of sales targets set by the company. - Maintain the current active customer portfolio. - Expand the customer portfolio by promoting the company's image and products. - Ensure consistent and high customer satisfaction. - In collaboration with the tender office and marketing, define suitable commercial proposals for customers. - Provide input for preparing the sales budget for the area. - Organize scientific days/events to strengthen the company's image. - Analyze and map competitors. - Gather market needs data to improve product positioning and penetration. - Organize customer demonstrations with support from Sales Specialists or Marketing. - Provide the Area Manager with relevant information to define offers and strategies for the customer portfolio. - Update CRM with customer data and tools (e.g., V. Prompter) related to sales activities. Networking / Key Relationships - Internal: Tender Office, Offers and Contracts, Sales Specialist, Technical Assistance, Credit Management Office, Customer Service Office, Marketing Lines, Q.A / R.A. - External: Opinion Leaders, Customers, Clinicians, Procurement Managers. Minimum Knowledge & Experience Required Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences, Medical Technology, Engineering, or related disciplines (e.g., Biology, Biochemistry, Biomedical Engineering). Experience: - At least 2 years of experience in Sales or Application Specialist roles within an IVD company operating in an international context. - Knowledge of regulations and tender management. - Understanding of market, customers, area, and competitors. - Familiarity with company organization (roles, processes, etc.). Additional Skills / Knowledge: - Basic marketing knowledge. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365. Language skills are required.
