This role is ideal for someone with a solid foundation in accounting who thrives in a fast-paced, compliance-driven environment and is looking to grow professionally in the insurance sector. Start Date: “As soon as possible” Key Responsibilities: Assist in the day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, receivable, and reconciliations. Maintain accurate and organized financial records in accordance with industry regulations. Support monthly and quarterly closings, including premium and commission reconciliations. Coordinate with underwriters, agents, and external partners on billing and payment matters. Help prepare reports for audits, regulatory filings, and financial reviews. Ensure compliance with company policies and insurance accounting standards. Required Skills & Qualifications: Degree or coursework in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Prior experience in an accounting or administrative role (insurance industry experience is a plus). Familiarity with accounting software and tools (e.g., QuickBooks, Excel, AMS systems). Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
