Facilities Management Professional This role aims to ensure a safe, clean, and conducive working environment by providing general support services to other sections of the organization. The position is responsible for planning and execution of facilities systems and general infrastructure, maintenance, upkeep, and critical parameters monitoring. The individual is expected to contribute towards maintaining current SOPs and striving for process improvements where possible. - Ensure all facility installations comply with local legal requirements. - Work closely with the Safety & Health team on daily maintenance to comply with OSH, environmental standards, and industry codes of practice. - Develop and implement facility management programs and procedures for building and environmental equipment, including preventive maintenance and lifecycle management according to ISO 9001, 14001, and other relevant standards. - Conduct daily facilities inspections and escalate any irregularities or non-conformities. - Perform functional requirements in accordance with DOSH, DOE, Bomba, ST Acts, and related regulations. - Provide regular updates on facilities systems maintenance status to management. - Prepare reports as required by management. - Allocate and manage facility space for maximum efficiency. - Supervise maintenance, refurbishment, and renovation of facilities and equipment. - Implement best practice processes to increase efficiency. - Obtain quotes and tenders from vendors and suppliers. - Manage contractors on-site to ensure compliance with Environment, Health, and Safety policies during renovations and utilities hookup. - Prepare budgets for facility maintenance and upgrades. - Develop long-term plans for facility upgrades. - Participate in Kaizen activities. - Manage projects and tasks on time with minimal supervision. - Perform senior engineer functions in their absence as assigned by superiors. Education A bachelor's degree in Engineering or Facilities Management is required.
