AECOM’s market-leading Renewable Energy business in Colombia is looking for a Project Manager in Renewable Generation, who is active in the energy sector and has the whole of life cycle project experience on wind, solar and battery developments. We work closely with investors and developers to help them deliver successful developments from pre-construction through to operations. This role is for a passionate individual with a recognized track record in leading owner’s engineer services and ideally, project management services on behalf of our clients. Minimum Requirements + Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Renewable Energy, Electrical or Mechanical ideal) with minimum of 6 years project management experience + Mechanical, Electrical or Civil Engineer or experienced Project Engineers or Project Managers with some or all the following: + Relevant qualifications in related Engineering disciplines (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil) + Project Management certification is a plus; + Project or engineering experience across hybrid (wind/solar/battery) renewables projects from feasibility studies and specification development to construction monitoring, specially in wind offshore projects; + Experience in the delivery of large, multi-Megawatt, utility-scale power project development and grid connection process; + Demonstrable knowledge of major generation technologies and applicable systems; + Approachable and resilient demeanour, with proven project management skills, while building stakeholder relationships and collaborative project delivery; + Strong communication skills (written and verbal) in Spanish and English. + Knowledge of the major generation technologies + Energy Advisory experience or Financial/Economic background is highly advantageous; + Experience with other power generation technologies, e.g. energy storage, biofuels, or hydrogen advantageous.
