The Sr Finance Executive is self driven, strong in analytical thinking and promotes close partnership with the commercial team since the role influences people and decision makers and is responsible to provide strategic financial support to the Customer Development team, facilitating the achievement of Net Sales and Gross Margin objectives. To manage the GTN percentage in alignment with SOX and CFPs according to Company objectives through financial analysis and reports, providing key information for pricing decisions and monitoring customers financial performance. Main Functions: :Support the Customer Development Team (CDT) in achieving shared financial objectives, with a focus on Net Sales, Pricing, and Margin goals. :Perform financial analysis of commercial activities, including pre and post ROI calculations, scenario (what:if) analyses, and recommendations for customer plan adjustments. :Control and manage CPs commercial investment allocated to customers, including establishing and tracking baseline spend plans and monitoring Growth Plan investment by P and L line. :Prepare GTN investment estimates for Last Estimate (LE), annual budget cycles, and coordinate with B and P and commercial partners for volume and GTN projections. :Track, reconcile, and manage daily GTN, outstanding balances, and enforcement of credit notes. :Monitor and report on customer financial performance using key indicators (e.g., inventories, portfolio), and provide monthly management reporting. :Evaluate promotion and pricing activities (on/off strategy), providing recommendations on list pricing, SPI, and supporting baseline and promotion planning. :Review customer plans for reasonableness and reconcile Bottoms:up plans versus Rolling the six quarters forecast released by B and P. :Participate in the Commercial Monthly Discipline Process and communicate Customer/RE Risks and Opportunities along with proposed solutions. :Develop financial simulations for future periods to set Net Sales and Margin goals. :Maintain system expertise (e.g., CBP, BI), provide training and reporting to Commercial users, and ensure understanding/application of Colgate Financial Policies. :Seek customer insights, foster engagement, and establish positive relationships with customers. Requirements: :Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field :3:5 years of experience in Finance. Desirable experience supporting commercial teams. :Intermediate/advanced English (Written and spoken) Skills: Strong analytical, teamwork, effective communication and interpersonal skills. Relevant systems knowledge: :MS Excel, Macros, BI and SAP, Python, CoLab, Tableau, DOMO Knowledge of US GAAP, SOX.
