Global Compensation Specialist A comprehensive compensation specialist is sought after to play a pivotal role in shaping and enhancing our compensation practices. This blend of policy development, compensation management, and consultative support will ensure that our people's programs align with global standards, legal requirements, and business goals. You will work closely with leaders, managers, and stakeholders across the organization, offering advice on compensation matters and supporting the effective execution of global compensation policies and procedures. You will also train and empower teams to understand and implement the best practices in compensation. The successful candidate will manage key compensation functions such as benchmarking, salary reviews, job evaluations, and pay structure maintenance. They will also support the annual and quarterly compensation cycles by preparing data reports, coordinating approvals, and ensuring timely and accurate execution. Key Responsibilities: - Develop, implement, and refine compensation & people-related policies and guidelines that align with global standards and local compliance needs. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams including HR, legal, and finance to ensure policies are embedded into everyday processes and are consistently applied. - Support the development and maintenance of the job architecture framework through job evaluations, standardized job descriptions, and consistent job leveling, ensuring alignment with organizational strategy and internal equity. - Act as a trusted advisor to People Business Partners and business leaders by providing clear and data-driven recommendations on compensation strategies and policy execution. Requirements: - A strategic thinker with 3–5 years of experience in compensation, process improvement, finance, or planning. - Fluent in English (C1 proficiency required). - A consultative professional who excels at building relationships across organizational levels and is skilled in presenting complex information in an accessible manner. - Bring your data expertise to life with advanced Excel skills—from modeling and projections to transforming insights with Power Query and VBA automation. - Knowledgeable in compensation and benefits practices across the U.S., Central America, the Caribbean, and Latin American markets. - Familiar with job evaluation methodologies (Mercer IPE, Hay) and global HR policies.
