About the role: This role involves welcoming and registering guests, managing reservations, providing information about hotel facilities and services, handling phone calls, coordinating special requests, resolving guest issues, and managing check-out processes to ensure accurate and efficient transactions. The goal is to offer exceptional, personalized service to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for guests from arrival to departure. Responsibilities: Efficiently and courteously check-in guests, using their names whenever possible, assigning requested room types, and charging the correct rates. Handle check-out procedures, assess guest satisfaction, collect keys, settle charges, and present invoices, ensuring accuracy with various payment methods. Assign rooms to reservations 48 hours prior to arrival. Manage daily billing processes. Attend to guests with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, fulfilling special requests, resolving complaints, and assisting with inquiries about hotel services, hours, staff, events, and directions. Respond promptly and accurately to guest requests in person and via phone. Ensure the safety, privacy, and confidentiality of guest information. Requirements: Professional, technical, technologist students, or students in related fields such as tourism and hotel management, service administration, business administration, foreign languages, etc. Minimum of 6 months experience in hotel reception.
