Essential Functions Design automated equipment and solutions to improve manufacturing processes Define areas where automation could improve production and efficiency Provides technical support in relation to automated systems Own the technology and process and centerline settings for the equipment and process Designing new automation equipment or processes Simulating and testing these processes or equipment to ensure they function as desired Programming new automated components to the manufacturing process Developing and maintaining clear and accurate documentation of automation equipment or processes High speed assembly, manufacturing or food industry, and Automation experience. more than one area is preferred. High experience with AB and Siemens Programs Experience with metal detectors, Robot Fanuc, AGV, Servomotors and VDF Highly Collaborative: highly accountable and autonomous and naturally works well with the team to seek innovative solutions and can identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities to meet the company’s goals. Ability to build strong, positive rapport with associates in a team environment; ability to lead through personal example that communicates integrity, core values and consistency in decision-making. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced multi-tasking environment and to manage multiple projects/priorities to meet specific goals & deadlines.
