BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST AT ALLOGY MEDELLIN - **This role is an on-site position in Medellin.**: **Allogy is hiring a Business Development Specialist in our Medellin, Colombia Office** As our name suggests, Allogy is all about "the study of _all _things." We started in 2010 from a university research lab with a simple but ambitious goal: help experts use learning science and technology to reach massive audiences around the world. We build innovative systems that let small teams teach, train, and connect with hundreds of thousands of people globally. Our work spans everything from life-saving medical training apps like Deployed Medicine (used by over 300,000 people) to cutting-edge software for nonprofits that are shaping the future STEM workforce. As we launch our Medellín office, you'll be right at the center of building relationships that drive real innovation and create opportunities worldwide. *** You'll provide critical support for our U.S.based Channel Development Directors and work directly with our CEO on business development initiatives. While our U.S. team leads channel development and customer relations strategy, you'll be the engine that keeps everything running smoothly from Medellín. This isn't a typical support role — you'll be proactively managing key relationships and driving real results. Since this is a new office, you'll also help shape how we operate and grow. **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES** **Supporting Channel Development & Customer Relations** - Provide critical research and lead identification support to our U.S. Channel Development Directors, - Help pursue new business opportunities by preparing proposals, presentations, and sales materials, - Conduct market research to identify potential leads and key contacts, - Maintain our Odoo CRM system with accurate records of client interaction and sales activity documentation. **Client Relationship Management** - Serve as a primary contact for key accounts and prospects, and large corporations especially, - Build and maintain strong client relationships by really understanding their need and goals, - Support strategic account plans developed by senior leadership. **Operations & Collaboration** - Work with our local Designer to create compelling client materials, - Coordinate with our Sales Support team to keep everything organized, - Use Odoo (or similar) CRM effectively to track leads, manage pipelines, and generate reports, - Help develop and refine our sales and client management processes as we build out the Medellín office, - Provide regular updates to leadership on account progress and objectives. **WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR** - Proven experience in a client-facing role, such as customer success, account management, or business development, - Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and build relationships with executive-level contacts in large organizations, - Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English (C1/C2 level preferred) and Spanish, - Experience using CRM software (e.g., Odoo, Salesforce, HubSpot) is highly desirable, - Ability to understand strategic business objectives and translate them into daily operational tasks and client interactions, - Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently with general guidance. - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, - Proficiency with standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, Zoom, Teams, Slack), - A Bachelor's Degree is desirable, and an MBA is a plus. **WHAT WE OFFER** - Competitive salary and benefits package. - Opportunity to be a foundational member of a new, dynamic team in Medellín. - Significant impact on international business growth. - A collaborative and supportive work environment. - Professional development opportunities. **TO APPLY** **SALARY RANGE** **7.000.000 - 9.000.000 COP/Month** Industry - IT Services and IT Consulting Employment Type Full-time Edit job description **Job Types**: Full-time, Commission
