Electrical Project Management Opportunity We are seeking a skilled project manager to lead the deployment and functionality of our operational intelligence platform for facilities. As an electrical project manager - IoT building systems installation, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless integration and operation of our electrical, gas, and water meters and other devices. Responsibilities - Create a plan for conducting surveys utilizing third-party contractors, including creating detailed specifications and schedules. - Supervise and coordinate site surveys execution, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards. - Validate survey results to ensure a complete survey is delivered with the required information, identifying any discrepancies or areas for improvement. - Review initial project scope to ensure required equipment and materials are properly specified and accounted for, eliminating any potential risks or delays. - Manage & track project budgets, provide accurate forecasting and reporting to internal stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment with project goals. - Manage the change order process with customers and internal stakeholders, effectively communicating and resolving any issues that may arise. - Remotely project manage the installation of digital electrical, gas, and water meters, and related equipment, communicating with field contractors via phone and email to ensure smooth project execution. - Coordinate with project engineers, hardware engineers, and other internal and external teams to ensure project milestones are met on time and within scope, fostering collaboration and open communication. - Use project management tools to update progress, resolve issues, and generate tasks for outstanding items, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards. - Work with project engineers, hardware engineers, and project managers to ensure installation has reached completion, reviewing and validating all work completed. - Complete equipment setup by properly allocating sensor data using cloud-based software, ensuring seamless integration and operation of our electrical, gas, and water meters and other devices. Equipment Commissioning & Troubleshooting - Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve installation-related issues remotely or guide team on site with clear instructions, ensuring prompt resolution and minimal downtime. - Use software tools to configure and verify device settings for optimal performance, ensuring maximum efficiency and effectiveness. Progress Reporting - Regularly communicate project status, progress, and updates to internal stakeholders, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines, and providing transparent and accurate information. - Serve as the main point of contact for customers during project execution, providing timely updates, addressing concerns, and ensuring high satisfaction with the installation process. Process Optimization - Analyze existing workflows and processes to identify inefficiencies and propose innovative solutions to optimize operations, driving continuous improvement and excellence. - Develop and implement strategies to improve project management and installation methods to improve delivery timelines, quality, and cost, aligning with business objectives and goals. As a project manager, you will be responsible for collaborating with internal teams to refine standard operating procedures, making them more effective and easier to follow for long-term use. Additionally, you will stay informed on industry trends and technologies to proactively suggest improvements to hardware systems and processes, driving innovation and growth. Qualifications and Attributes - Excellent English verbal and written communication skills to effectively liaise with clients and internal teams, ensuring clear and concise communication. - Ability to build rapport with customer contacts, maintain relationships over time, and handle challenging situations with professionalism, resolving conflicts and ensuring customer satisfaction. - Customer-centric approach with a delta-oriented mindset and a focus on delivering high-quality execution, prioritizing customer needs and expectations. - Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, demonstrating a strong foundation in electrical engineering principles and practices. - Have at least one of the following certifications, or similar: Project Management Professional (PMP), Construction Project Management (CPMC), Certified Construction Manager (CCM), showcasing expertise and knowledge in project management and construction practices. - 4 years experience project managing construction, smart IoT equipment installation and commissioning, or managing building operations with smart IoT building systems, demonstrating hands-on experience and expertise in project management and construction practices.
