We are seeking a meticulous and service-oriented Payroll & Reimbursements Specialist to own the full payroll lifecycle, from timesheet validation and third-party processing to tax compliance and employee reimbursements. The ideal candidate is detail-obsessed, proactive, and comfortable managing sensitive financial data while supporting both employees and finance teams. Key Responsibilities:







Manage end-to-end payroll operations for hourly and salaried staff. Collect and validate timesheets; liaise with third-party payroll providers. Ensure payroll compliance across tax jurisdictions. Review, track, and process employee expense reimbursements. Respond to payroll and reimbursement-related inquiries with accuracy and discretion. Interface with finance on payroll GL entries and audits. Identify anomalies or issues proactively and escalate as needed. Qualifications:
Strong written and spoken English; bilingual Spanish is a plus. 2+ years of experience in payroll administration or similar financial operations. Familiarity with platforms like ADP, Paychex, Gusto, or equivalents. Detail-oriented and discreet when handling sensitive data. Ability to understand payroll/tax compliance and GL implications. Service-oriented and responsive when supporting employee needs. Nice-to-Haves:
Experience working with union payrolls or prevailing wage environments. Knowledge of state-by-state payroll compliance. Prior experience creating SOPs or job aids for payroll processes. Familiarity with PTO tracking systems and accrual methods. Proficiency in Excel for validating timesheets, deductions, and benefits. Resume Submission Guidelines:
