Here’s what you can expect: - Competitive base with a strong, uncapped commission structure - Comprehensive benefits and wellness support - Flexible work model: hybrid, remote, or in-office - Real growth opportunities and leadership visibility - Inclusive, respectful culture that blends U.S. innovation with Colombian heart - A company that listens, invests in you, and celebrates wins together **About the role** **What you will do**: - Design and implement scalable **data marts** and **BI data models** in Snowflake using dimensional modeling principles (star/snowflake schema). - Develop and manage **ETL/ELT pipelines** supporting both **batch processing** and **near-real-time data ingestion**. - Implement strategies to manage **historical data and slowly changing dimensions (SCD Types 1, 2, 3)** effectively. - Collaborate with data analysts, BI developers, and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into data solutions. - Optimize Snowflake objects (tables, views, warehouses) for performance and cost-efficiency. - Design and document data lineage, transformations, and architecture components. - Monitor, troubleshoot, and ensure reliability and accuracy of data pipelines and models. - Implement best practices for data governance, security, and compliance. **What you bring**: - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. - 4+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering or BI data modeling. - Proficiency with **Snowflake**, including experience in data warehousing, virtual warehouses, and cost optimization. - Strong SQL skills and experience with **dimensional modeling**, data marts, and historical dimensions. - Experience working with **data integration tools** (e.g., dbt, Apache Airflow, Fivetran, Talend, or similar). - Familiarity with streaming platforms and near-real-time ingestion frameworks (e.g., Kafka, Snowpipe, AWS Kinesis). - Knowledge of **data quality frameworks**, CI/CD for data pipelines, and version control systems (e.g., Git). **Nice if you have**: - Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure). - Familiarity with BI platforms such as **Tableau**, **Looker**, or **Power BI**. - Working knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Bash). - Experience in an Agile/Scrum development environment. **Equal Opportunity Employer**: AspenView is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
