AECOM has an immediate opportunity available for a Civil Engineer II - Hydrology & Hydraulics for employment in Bogota, Colombia. Position Overview: The responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Perform hydrology and hydraulic analyses and designs for diverse infrastructure projects. - Conduct hydraulic scour modeling and provide design recommendations. - Design and assess linear infrastructure and site drainage systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and project requirements. - Execute stormwater runoff modeling and drainage designs for urban and rural environments. - Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate hydrologic and hydraulic solutions into comprehensive project designs. - Prepare technical reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders. - Stay updated with the latest advancements in hydrology and hydraulic modeling technologies and methodologies. **Qualifications** Minimum Requirements: - Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field with + 2 YORE or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education - Proficiency in software such as HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, SWMM, ARCGIS, CIVIL3D or similar tools. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. - Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, in **English** and Spanish. Preferred Qualifications: - Preferably 4 years of experience - Master’s degree in a related field. - Experience in international projects and working with multidisciplinary teams. - Familiarity with national and international hydrology and hydraulic regulations and standards. - Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
