As a Sustainability Sr Manager, you will lead the design, implementation, and continuous evolution of the organization’s sustainability strategy, ensuring measurable environmental impact, regulatory compliance, and alignment with international ESG standards. This role drives cross-functional collaboration to embed sustainability into core operations, supports data-driven decision-making through robust internal controls and reporting, and positions the company as a leader in responsible and transparent business practices. Your Deliverables Will Be - Lead and coordinate initiatives to reduce environmental impact and improve energy efficiency, managing the full sustainability project portfolio and monitoring impact. - Design internal control frameworks and methodologies for ESG data validation, ensuring data quality and consistency. - Ensure compliance with IFRS S1 and S2 and other ESG regulations in the U.S. and Europe, coordinating external audits and verification processes. - Prepare sustainability reports under international standards, conduct materiality assessments, and develop dashboards and KPIs for executive leadership. - Design and implement carbon footprint offset programs, select high-quality offset projects, and oversee the measurement, reporting, and verification of emissions reductions. Our Ideal Candidate - Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Accounting, Sustainable Development Engineering, or Environmental Sciences; Master’s degree or certifications in sustainability preferred. - 6+ years of advanced experience in sustainability roles. - 5 years of proven expertise in IFRS S1 and S2. - Strong knowledge of ESG frameworks (GRI, SASB, TCFD, CDP, UNGC) and ESG regulations in the U.S. and Europe (+5 years). - Hands-on experience in designing and implementing internal controls for ESG data verification and validation. - Track record in developing and executing carbon offset programs, including emissions measurement, reporting, and verification. - Skilled in preparing sustainability reports and conducting materiality analyses using best-practice methodologies.
