As a Senior Partner Solution Architect focused on SI and Independent Software Vendors (ISV's) within Amazon Web Services (AWS), you will have the opportunity to help accelerate and deliver on customer's technical strategy leveraging solution design best practices, cloud native use cases, and broad set of native AWS utility computing services (such as Amazon Elastic Compute (EC2), Amazon Simple Storage Service (S3), Amazon DynamoDB, Amazon Elastic MapReduce, and Amazon CloudFront), as well as the solutions offered by the larger partner ecosystem. In this role, you will own the technical engagement with strategic partners. You will possess deep technical skill in software architecture and cloud computing as well as customer facing skills at all levels of a partner & customer organization. You should also have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges. Roles & Responsibilities: As a strategic member of the AWS Solutions Architect team, you will act as a trusted advisor to our managed systems integrators. This includes: - Act as a strategic technical leader in the field to provide architectural guidance and recommendations necessary to promote & accelerate partner engagements worldwide - Lead deep architectural discussions and design exercises to create world-class solutions built on AWS while ensuring solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud - Be an AWS evangelist; educate customers & partners of all sizes on the value proposition of AWS - Author or otherwise contribute to AWS customer-facing publications such as white papers, blogs, and proof of concepts - In partnership with the sales & partner team, formulate, and execute a sales strategy to exceed revenue objectives through the adoption of AWS & its partner solutions - Build deep relationships with senior technical individuals within customers & partners to enable them to be cloud advocates - Capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the AWS solutions architect community Work/Life BalanceOur team also puts a high value on work-life balance.
