Compliance Analyst Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Compliance Analyst to support the development, execution, and continuous improvement of our compliance monitoring and testing programs. This role plays a critical part in ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies, while fostering a culture of integrity and accountability across the organization. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of regulatory frameworks, laws, and compliance requirements. They should also possess experience in auditing or monitoring activities, including planning, risk assessment, testing, and reporting. Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively, are essential for this role. Additionally, the successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels. Analytical thinking, sound decision-making capabilities, and a proactive mindset are necessary for recommending practical solutions to mitigate risk and enhance controls. This role requires self-motivation, adaptability, and the ability to work independently or collaboratively as needed. The Compliance Analyst will be responsible for performing periodic reviews of business activities, contributing to a compliance audit and monitoring team, and preparing written reports of findings and recommendations. Key Responsibilities: - Regulatory Compliance Monitoring: Perform periodic reviews of business activities to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies. - Audit and Monitoring Support: Contribute to a compliance audit and monitoring team completing scheduled activities according to scheduled deadlines. - Reporting and Recommendations: Prepare written reports of findings and recommendations resulting from the monitoring reviews. - Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong working relationships with compliance, business, and technology stakeholders. - Issue Escalation: Escalate significant compliance issues to management and provide actionable insights. - Professional Development: Demonstrate sound ethical judgment and promote transparency in identifying, managing, and reporting control issues. Requirements: - Regulatory Knowledge: Solid understanding of regulatory frameworks, laws, and compliance requirements. - Auditing Experience: Experience in auditing or monitoring activities, including planning, risk assessment, testing, and reporting. - Project Management Skills: Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively. - Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels. - Analytical Thinking: Analytical thinker with sound decision-making capabilities and a proactive mindset.
