Avionics and Electrical Technician Role Work on maintaining the technical integrity of aircraft avionics, electrical systems, and instruments. - Responsibilities - Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot avionics, electrical systems, and instruments to ensure optimal performance and safety. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement maintenance procedures and resolve complex technical issues. - Develop and execute plans for maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards. Requirements - Qualifications - Technical degree in electrical, avionics, or instrument aviation maintenance from an accredited institution. - Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in avionics, instruments, and electrical work, including aviation maintenance and flight line experience. - Current TEEI Colombian license or equivalent U.S. FCC license required. - Demonstrated expertise in using aircraft avionics, instruments, and electrical technical publications for troubleshooting and repairs. - Proficiency in English at Foreign Service Institute Level R/1 or equivalent; Spanish language ability at Level R/3 or S/3 is required. - Familiarity with Colombian Aeronautica Civil and U.S. FAA regulations, as well as Colombian safety standards and procedures.
