Job Role Overview We Are Seeking a Proactive IT Support Specialist Excis is an innovative and collaborative IT support leader that fosters open communication, friendly relations, and growth-oriented teamwork. We are seeking a proactive Desktop Support Technician to manage hardware, software, and IT assets across multiple locations. Main Responsibilities: - Install, configure, and troubleshoot end-user devices including desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, audio-visual equipment, and mobile devices/tablets. - Perform standardized software installations, support, and updates (includes MS Windows 10/11, M365 suite, Teams). - Assist with infrastructure and network connectivity issues as per instructions from the customer or remote IT teams. - Provide basic training to end-users on hardware and software usage. - Offer support where physical intervention is necessary for install, maintain, and troubleshoot equipment. - Assist with rack and stack operations. - Participate in performing physical audits and asset tagging. Key Requirements: - Respond to and resolve technical issues in a timely manner as per SLA. - Perform installations, moves, adds, changes, and decommissions of IT equipment. - Maintain accurate documentation of all work performed. - Confidence to interact with senior executives/management (VIP level support). - Collaborate with remote IT teams to resolve complex issues. - Familiarity with safety protocols and security procedures as per provided guidelines.
