Senior Infrastructure Engineer Job Description The primary role of the Senior Infrastructure Engineer is to design, develop, and maintain robust infrastructure systems that support our digital assets. This includes server administration, network architecture, and system security. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Linux and Windows operating systems, as well as experience with firewall configuration, VPNs, and cloud environments. A key aspect of this position is ensuring the availability and performance of our systems, which requires effective monitoring and troubleshooting skills. Additionally, the Senior Infrastructure Engineer will be responsible for implementing backup strategies and disaster recovery plans to mitigate potential risks. To excel in this role, candidates should possess excellent communication and customer service skills, as they will be working closely with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues. - 4+ years of experience as an Infrastructure and Security Analyst. - Strong knowledge of server administration (Linux & Windows), network architecture, and system security. - Hands-on experience with firewall configuration, VPNs (IPSEC/SSL), cloud + on-premise environments, and scripting (basic level). - Proficient in managing Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPOs, and network shares. - Experience in vulnerability assessment, incident management, and secure systems design. - Familiarity with Google Workspace and Office 365 administration. - Strong communication and customer service skills for supporting users under pressure. - Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks effectively. - Intermediate English proficiency (B1 or higher) for documentation and cross-functional collaboration.
