Position Overview: Were hiring an Operations & Quality Manager to lead a remote team, drive quality assurance, streamline workflows, and improve performance reporting. This is a hands-on leadership role suited for someone who thrives in a startup environment, has a bias for action, and is comfortable managing lean teams across multiple functions. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and manage a remote team of 11, including oversight of a Team Lead. - Oversee recruitment, onboarding, training, and ongoing performance management. - Review SOPs, identify inefficiencies, and implement automation tools (Zapier or equivalent). - Maintain quality standards, enforcing controls to keep error rates under 2%. - Forecast staffing needs and ensure proper contractor coverage. - Collaborate cross-functionally with sales and coaching teams to align operations. - Define, track, and report on key performance metrics weekly. - Partner with the CEO and strategy leads to test and scale process improvements. Qualifications: - 3+ years of experience in operations, QA, or remote team management. - Prior experience managing teams of 10+ in a lean, fast-paced company (not enterprise). - Strong working knowledge of Notion, Airtable, and Google Sheets. - Strong analytical and reporting skills; data-driven decision maker. - Excellent organization and attention to detail. Nice-to-Haves: - Experience with Zapier or other workflow automation tools. - Familiarity with QA frameworks or training programs. - Background in client-facing service businesses or startups. - Ability to build dashboards or internal analytics tools.
