Job Title: Business Analyst - Regulatory Reporting Function Terms: Contract-to-Hire Location: Hybrid in Bogota, Colombia Key Responsibilities - Lead a team focused on onboarding reporting processes onto the regulatory platform - Expand the platform’s coverage to include new markets, products, and compliance requirements - Translate business objectives into detailed requirements and functional specifications - Document end-to-end delivery processes and create standardized, scalable playbooks - Conduct and manage user acceptance testing (UAT), including test case creation and validation - Support global finance teams with inquiries related to regulatory frameworks (e.g., COREP, FINREP) - Build collaborative relationships with stakeholders across finance, product, and engineering - Perform gap analyses, identify risk and control issues, and escalate where needed - Review and approve system layouts used as the basis for regulatory report generation - Design and implement reconciliation and cross-check processes between reports and data sources - Communicate regularly with Data Analysts responsible for tables and queries feeding regulatory layouts - Generate regulatory reports and prepare files for submission to authorities and internal teams - Verify successful creation of all required output files and upload into the system for report generation - Keep Jira and other project tracking tools updated with submission statuses and delivery timelines - Address and respond to regulator inquiries and perform any required follow-up analysis - Troubleshoot issues that may disrupt the generation, validation, or submission of regulatory reports - Escalate unresolved issues to the regulatory reporting team and coordinate with stakeholders including internal departments, system owners, or regulators - Collaborate with the regulatory reporting team to plan and implement enhancements or modifications to reporting processes to ensure ongoing compliance What You’ll Bring - Strong hands-on experience using SQL for data validation and analysis - Prior experience leading or managing a team - Solid understanding of financial products and transaction lifecycles, especially in a regulatory context - Proven ability to gather, document, and communicate business and functional requirements - Experience working with regulatory reporting standards, particularly EBA frameworks such as COREP and FINREP - Demonstrated success conducting UAT and collaborating with both technical and business teams for successful rollouts - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across multiple time zones - Self-driven, with the ability to work both independently and in a fast-paced, collaborative environment Preferred Qualifications - Familiarity with the Axiom platform and its application in regulatory reporting - Experience supporting finance systems in a fintech, banking, or regulated financial services environment Please share resumes to #J-18808-Ljbffr Required Skill Profession Asuntos Legales, Inteligencia Empresarial Y Análisis
