Our tools help language teachers create speaking assignments, provide students with instant feedback, and track proficiency growth—all while saving teachers time. The Role We’re hiring a Quota-Carrying Account Executive to help us bring Speakable to more schools and districts across the U.S. You'll be responsible for managing the full sales cycle—from outreach to close—targeting world language and ESL program leaders, school administrators, and district decision-makers. This is a great opportunity to join a fast-growing edtech company at an early stage and help shape our sales playbook. This is a hybrid position based out of our El Chico office in Bogotá. You’ll work 3 days per week in-office and 2 days remotely . The role requires fluency in professional English for 6–8 hours per day , including live video meetings, emails, and sales calls with U.S.-based educators and administrators. What You’ll Do Own the full sales cycle. Prospect, qualify, demo, and close new school and district accounts across the U.S. Manage a pipeline. Maintain accurate records in HubSpot, update deal stages, and hit weekly/monthly activity goals. Run high-quality demos. Present Speakable clearly and confidently over Google Meet , tailoring to each school’s needs. Work with marketing. Follow up on inbound leads and help shape outbound campaigns. Collaborate with leadership. Share insights on objections, pricing feedback, and district buying cycles to improve our product and pitch. Exceed quota. Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly revenue goals. What We’re Looking For Fluent, confident communicator in spoken and written English (you’ll be selling to U.S.-based customers daily) 2+ years of experience in a sales role, ideally at a SaaS or edtech company Experience managing a quota and consistently hitting or exceeding sales goals Strong understanding of sales tools and CRM platforms (we use HubSpot) Organized, self-motivated, and comfortable managing your own pipeline Bonus if you’ve sold to K–12 schools or understand U.S. school district sales cycles Work Schedule Based in Bogotá, working U.S. time zone hours 3 days/week in-office (El Chico) 2 days/week remote Why Join Speakable?
