This individual will monitor, analyze and report on the organization’s activities and ability to deliver against targets for financial performance, quality, and service and compliance adherence. **Scope of responsibilities included**: - Assist in developing and driving the Procurement vision for, with and through the stakeholder community - Assist in executing the vision, strategy and implementation plan for a specific category or sub-categories of spend to ensure they effectively meet the long range requirements of the business partners and deliver the maximum value for JNJ - Interface directly with suppliers to assure alignment of JNJ’s objectives are met, including quality, reliability, innovation and cost - Partnering with Category Leads to deliver annual value improvements driving competitive advantage - Develop supplier relationships with strategic suppliers to include data review and analysis, performance management and development and improvement of end to end value, innovation to the business - Monitor, analyze, and report on the performance to financial, service, reliability, quality, innovation, and growth commitments - Assist in the execution of category strategies to include: sourcing strategy execution, negotiations, contract implementation and performance against established targets - Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of processes, policies, guidelines, Standard Operating Procedures, and Business Operating Principles - Assist in the reporting of supplier performance with strategic supplier management - Assist in managing & prioritizing the portfolio of Procurement segment (Pharm, MD&D; and/or Consumer) specific initiatives - Assist in mapping and onboarding suppliers in J&J;’s Global Supplier Diversity and Sustainability programs - Lead and/or participate in regional and global meetings - Prepare Business Cases - Interact with senior leadership (including C level) and other important stakeholders - Negotiate cross sector contracts **Qualifications** **Qualifications**: **Education**: - A Bachelor degree is required, with a preferred concentration in Business, Finance, Marketing or related field **Experience and Skills**: **Required**: - A minimum of 3 years of procurement experience is required - Advanced level of English and Spanish is a must. Portuguese is a plus - Broad-based understanding of core Procurement areas of focus regarding Supplier Management (Strategic Sourcing methodology) - Category Management skills - Strong verbal and written communication skill with ability to confidently present complex information - Demonstrated Credo mind-set and behavior - Travel requirements up to 10% **Preferred**: - Able to prioritize requests, and propose effective cost/customer service alternatives when necessary - Strong project management skills, with experience leading cross-functiona
