What makes you a strong candidate: You are proficient in case management. You are beginner in administrative assistance, database management, insurance management, and legal research. English - Native or fully fluent. Spanish - Conversational. Responsibilities: We are looking for a highly organized and proactive legal assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will manage personal injury cases from start to finish, ensuring efficient communication with clients, insurance companies, and medical providers while maintaining compliance with legal and medical regulations. This position requires strong multitasking abilities, assertive communication skills, and the capacity to manage a high volume of cases in a dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities: Open new case files, establish initial contact with clients, and maintain regular communication with clients throughout the process. Conduct thorough research by collecting and analyzing intake information and relevant documentation. Verify insurance coverage and liability issues while maintaining contact with insurance companies. Oversee and coordinate client medical care by scheduling appointments, maintaining communication with medical providers, and explaining procedures to clients. Review and organize medical records and related documentation for case management purposes. Accurately enter and update case details in the database. Monitor case progress and status, ensuring all necessary steps are completed. Organize and maintain case files to prepare them for submission to demand writers. Maintain client records by reviewing case notes, documenting events, and ensuring timely updates. Adhere to HIPAA regulations and protect client confidentiality. Assist in the preparation of demand packages by collecting and analyzing relevant information, evidence, and documentation. Review and categorize medical records, insurance correspondence, and release agreements to support case resolution. Effectively manage a caseload of over 80 files, ensuring deadlines and goals are met. Perform additional tasks assigned by management or team leaders. Requirements Soft Skills: Strong communication skills, including assertive and professional client-facing abilities. Proactive, responsible, and able to work independently. Excellent multitasking and organizational skills. Leadership and teamwork abilities, with the capacity to thrive in a dynamic environment. Hard Skills: Proficiency in English, both written and verbal. 1-2 years of consistent experience as a Case Manager; personal injury experience is highly valued.
