Job Description We are seeking a dynamic Senior Accountant with 5-10 years of experience in financial accounting and reporting, payroll, AP / AR, and inventory management. In summary, this function will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial and accounting functions across 3 teams/lines of business and several states. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of U.S. accounting practices, demonstrate leadership abilities, and possess the skills to drive the financial health and transparency of our organization. English Level: C1 Experience: 5+ years & USA practice experience Proficiency in accounting software and applications. Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organization skills. Proven leadership abilities and experience managing a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering financial information. Ability to handle confidential information in a discreet and professional manner. Tech Stack: Microsoft office. Skype. What awaits you in this role? Financial Accounting: Manage and oversee daily accounting activities to ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and company policies. Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, as well as other internal and external financial reports. Payroll Management: Run the payroll process in liaison with the external provider, ensuring accurate and timely compensation to employees. Develop the ability to bring the tasks in-house and oversee processes in the future. Accounts Payable and Receivable: Liaise with the Operations and Admin Team and maintain accurate financial records of AP and AR, including reconciliations. Make weekly payments of AP. Inventory Management: Liaise with the Operations team for accurate recording and reporting of inventory. Provide insights and recommendations to optimize inventory control and valuations. Budgeting & Forecasting: Collaborate with leadership in cash-flow analysis, budgeting, and forecasting processes, providing financial insights and analysis. Leadership: Mentor and guide junior accounting staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and accountability. Audit & Compliance: Coordinate with the Operations team for various insurance and license renewals and obligations, as well as internal and external auditors, ensuring all documentation is available for audit processes.
