Since 2008, the company has navigated market changes by focusing on private lending, maintaining low delinquency rates, and offering tailored financing solutions for a diverse range of clients, from first-time home buyers to seasoned investors. We are seeking a sharp, bilingual (English and Spanish) Loan Processor to support our client’s growing pipeline of private money and hard money loans for both consumer and business purposes. The candidate will play a key role in relieving administrative bottlenecks and ensuring clean and accurate loan files as deals move from origination through closing. The ideal candidate must have experience in private lending, understands how to operate within Point and The Mortgage Office, and is confident working in a fast-paced, detail-driven environment. Strong phone communication skills and the ability to proactively engage with co-brokers, escrow, and insurance vendors are essential. Key Responsibilities: Loan File Management & Documentation - Input loan details and maintain files in Calyx Point and The Mortgage Office - Run compliance checks, including LexisNexis and AML validations - Review and interpret preliminary title reports, credit reports, and appraisals - Calculate income, form loan applications, and structure accurate disclosures - Ensure all loan documentation is complete, current, and organized Insurance & Compliance - Procure insurance policies for applicable transactions - Monitor insurance documentation and coordinate with escrow/title - Support file organization for business-purpose and consumer-purpose loans - Support compliance workflows for both consumer and business-purpose loans Communication & Coordination - Proactively communicate with co-brokers, escrow officers, and insurance reps - Follow up with internal team members and third parties to avoid bottlenecks - Keep all stakeholders informed of loan file status and documentation issues - Handle calls, emails, and client communication using Outlook, VOIP, and Microsoft Teams Working Hours: Near Full-Time (approx. 35–40 hours/week; flexible depending on workload) Monday through Friday 8 AM - 5 PM Pacific Standard Time Ideal Profile Requirements and Qualifications - 2+ years of experience in loan processing, preferably within private or hard money lending - Proficiency in Calyx Point (LOS) and The Mortgage Office (origination/servicing) - Strong ability to read and analyze title reports, credit reports, and appraisals - Experience with income calculation, forming loan applications, and preparing disclosures - Bilingual in English & Spanish (highly preferred) - Strong phone etiquette and email communication skills - Ability to operate independently with minimal supervision - High adaptability to fluctuating volume and multitasking What's on Offer? - Work in a company with a solid track record of performance - Work alongside & learn from best in class talent - A role that offers a breadth of learning opportunities
