Your role as a Payroll and Human Resources Generalist As a Payroll & Human Resources (HR) Generalist at CANDA Solutions, LLC, you will play a vital role in managing the organization's payroll operations while supporting essential human resources functions. Your primary responsibility will be ensuring accurate and timely employee compensation, fully compliant with federal, state, and local regulations. In addition to payroll management, you will contribute to key HR processes such as onboarding, offboarding, benefits inquiries, compliance, employee relations, and records management. Key Responsibilities: Payroll Management & Compliance (Primary Focus) Manage and process end-to-end payroll using iSolved, including data reviews, calculations, audits, and approvals. Ensure the accurate and timely payment of salaries, bonuses, benefits, garnishments, and taxes. Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local wage and hour regulations. Administer and reconcile payroll deductions for benefits, 401(k)/retirement plans, and other withholdings. Stay up to date with payroll-related laws and regulations to ensure compliance. Prepare and submit documentation for tax filings, garnishments, and deductions. Collaborate with Finance and HR to improve payroll operations and resolve discrepancies. Timekeeping & Employee Data Audit and validate employee timekeeping records for accuracy; correct discrepancies and ensure proper approvals. Update payroll and employee data, including new hires, terminations, pay changes, and leave adjustments. Serve as the point of contact for employee questions regarding payroll, time entry, and deductions. Payroll Reporting & Audit Support Generate, analyze, and distribute payroll reports to internal stakeholders and leadership. Support internal and external audits by maintaining accurate payroll records and documentation. Monitor and enhance payroll processes to improve accuracy, efficiency, and data integrity. HR Generalist Responsibilities Assist with the coordination of benefits programs, including open enrollment and employee education. Support onboarding and orientation for new hires; ensure smooth transitions and system setup. Maintain personnel files and HR documentation in compliance with legal requirements. Respond to HR-related inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and benefits. Assist with employee relations issues, investigations, and policy enforcement as needed. Help manage the offboarding process, including conducting exit interviews and compiling retention data. Provide HR policy guidance to employees and managers and contribute to a positive workplace culture. Collaborate on recruitment activities such as posting jobs, screening candidates, and scheduling interviews. Required Skills & Abilities: United States Citizen 3-5 years Payroll experience 2-3 years Human Resources Experience Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources or equivalent job experience Deep knowledge of payroll administration, tax laws, and wage/hour regulations.
