Job Description The Engineering Design Coordinator role involves overseeing design and modelling work performed by strategic contractors for asset classes based on project specifications and P&IDs.; This position requires coordinating design work in partnership with engineering contractors to ensure predictable performance, high quality, and compliance to industry codes and standards. - Oversee design and modelling work performed by contractors. - Assist the digital team in implementing digital twin, scanning, surveying, and as-built modelling execution strategies. - Coordinate design work in partnership with engineering contractors. - Administer and troubleshoot 3D design software environments (e.g., AutoCAD Plant 3D, SmartPlant 3D, AVEVA E3D). - Customize and manage piping specifications, catalogs, and project templates within software. - Provide technical support and training to design team members on tools and workflows. Required Qualifications - Technical degree in Design and/or Drafting Technology. - 5+ years of experience in piping, instrumentation, electrical or structural design. - Full English proficiency is a must. - Experience in 3D software administration with exposure to various technologies. - Proven experience in enterprise content management solution development and delivery. - Experience in database management related to CAD systems. - Experience with cloud-based collaboration tools. - Knowledge of scripting or automation within CAD platforms. - Understanding of laser scanning & surveying technologies and quality standards.
