Investments in and building strong competences across our technology pillars - SAP, Digital Enterprise Systems, Data and Analytics, Digital Operations, Security are key to an integrated digital that is positioned to deliver superior results. **About this role** The “Cloud Infrastructure Engineer” for Hybrid Cloud is a part of the Hybrid Hosting Operations (HHO) team located in Coimbatore & Pune Schlumberger and reporting to “Hybrid Cloud Infrastructure Lead”. **Responsibilities** - Provide operational support for Hybrid cloud environment on Windows/Linux/HP-UX/VMWare technology stack. - Responsible for all aspects of Compute on-premises and cloud infrastructure including Strategy, Planning, Resources, Training & Mentoring, Tracking, Reporting and On-going demonstrable improvements. - Expertise in implementation of best practices in OS and compute administration and process management; exhibited excellent workmanship in day-to-day operations such as ticket resolution, technical support, ITSM practices ( IM,CM & PM etc.) - Extensive experience in versions of Windows/Linux/HP-UX operating system administration, implementation, integration, troubleshooting, training, and strategic guidance - Ensure that the infrastructure operations are fully compliant with industry wide best practices and in line with the company defined process. **Qualifications and Requirements** - Essential qualifications_ - Proficient on Windows/Linux/HP-UX operating system all versions, including hands on experience for on-premise and cloud deployments - Hands on technical expertise on maintain infrastructure with security compliance with Hybrid Infrastructure (Patching Compliance, Vulnerability management, OS hardening etc.) - with azure DevOps and automation skills. - Hands on experience in designing, migration, and implementation of Cloud/On-premises VM’s & services. - Other skills and abilities_ - Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or related field - 7+ years of experience in managing compute with hybrid cloud infrastructure (Windows/Linux/VMware/Hyper-V etc.) - Hands on experience on managing hybrid cloud infrastructure with operational excellence. - Excellent communication, verbal, and written skills **SLB as an employer** As a leading employer in our industry, SLB is proud to offer a highly competitive package of base and incentive compensation as well as a comprehensive benefits program designed to support the health, wellness and financial security of our employees and their families.
