Role Summary: This is an exciting opportunity to join Xploy Solutions as a Leasing & Tenant Relations Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for managing lease processing, rent collection, and tenant communication. Your experience in Rent Manager and knowledge of subsidized housing programs such as CHA and Section 8 will be invaluable. Key Responsibilities: - Manage new leases, lease renewals, and move-outs in Rent Manager. - Make rent collection calls, send reminders, apply late fees, and manage tenant ledgers. - Handle communications and follow-ups with CHA, Section 8, and other subsidy tenants. - Coordinate with housing authorities on annual recertifications, rent portions, and documentation. - Support and document the eviction process, including notices and communication with legal teams. - Maintain organized and up-to-date records of tenant interactions, lease documents, and payment histories. Requirements: - 2+ years of experience in leasing, rent collection, or tenant relations in residential property management. - Advanced proficiency in Rent Manager—must be confident in entering leases, posting payments, managing ledgers, and generating reports. - Familiarity with CHA, Section 8, and other housing assistance programs. - Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), with professional phone etiquette. - Knowledge of Fair Housing laws, lease compliance, and eviction protocols. - Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: - Experience working with multi-state portfolios (especially in Illinois, Ohio, or Texas). - Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus. - Prior work experience with property management teams is an advantage.
