Your Role and Responsibilities In this position, you will have the opportunity to develop an effective Drives sales strategy within the specified market scope of Colombia and Ecuador, improving ABB's market penetration and realizing growth aspirations. - Define, plan, lead, and execute sales strategies to achieve both qualitative and quantitative sales targets for products, systems, and/or services. - Showcase expertise by leading, developing, and coaching the Sales organization to achieve sales targets through high performance. The work model for this role is hybrid, and you will be mainly accountable for: - Anticipating and identifying customers' needs and aligning them with the Drives portfolio. - Identifying and evaluating new opportunities with existing and potential customers, determining plans for implementation, and allocating required resources. - Planning and executing product strategies according to market requirements. - Participating in the negotiation of key contracts. - Leading local pricing strategy and ensuring division profitability. Qualifications To succeed in this role, you must possess: - A degree in Electronic, Electrical, or Electromechanical Engineering (mandatory). - An MBA or specialization in Marketing (desirable). - Highly developed skills in portfolio management and the electrical distribution market, specifically with variable speed drives for medium and low voltage. - At least 10 years of experience in commercial roles, including sales, technical sales, or related functions. - Enhanced knowledge of low and medium voltage drives and electrical distribution portfolios. - A passion for business strategy, market intelligence, customer experience success, and pricing excellence. - Advanced English communication skills.
