Role Overview: We’re looking for a talented and creative Ad Video Editor to join our fast-paced, collaborative team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in crafting compelling video content, with a strong focus on ad creatives and social media videos. Your work will span motion graphics, short-form and long-form edits, and platform-optimized content. Key Responsibilities Video Editing & Production - Edit and assemble raw footage into polished, on-brand video content aligned with campaign objectives. - Optimize videos for various digital platforms, including Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, Amazon, X (formerly Twitter), Pinterest, and web. - Collaborate with project leads and clients to understand creative goals, messaging, and technical requirements. Creative Concept Development - Contribute to the ideation and development of video concepts, storyboards, and visual strategies. - Translate creative briefs into impactful, engaging content designed to capture attention and spark conversations. - Focus on storytelling and visual hooks—especially within the first 3 seconds—to boost audience engagement. Post-Production - Enhance videos with motion graphics, music, sound effects, transitions, and visual effects. - Apply consistent color correction and grading in line with brand identity. - Deliver multiple variations of each video with unique opening hooks, per client or platform needs. Asset & Content Management - Organize and manage video files, assets, and version control systems efficiently. - Stay current on industry trends, editing software, and platform best practices. Feedback & Iteration - Accept and apply feedback quickly and effectively to refine video output. - Manage multiple projects simultaneously while consistently meeting tight deadlines. Success Metrics - Production Efficiency: - Complete 2-4 video editing requests per day. - Turnaround video edits within 1-3 days. - Address revision requests within 12-24 hours. - Complete projects with 2 revisions or less to ensure timely delivery and client satisfaction. - Quality and Consistency: - Produce high-quality video content that enhances the brand's visibility and engagement across various platforms. - Maintain brand consistency and integrity across all video materials. - Achieve consistent client satisfaction through effective communication and high-quality video edits. Requirements - Proven experience as a Video Editor with a strong portfolio showcasing expertise in video editing and production. - Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar. - Strong understanding of video editing techniques, color grading, and visual storytelling. - Ability to translate creative concepts into compelling video content. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills. - Highly organized with strong attention to detail. - Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. - Knowledge of current video editing trends, techniques, and best practices.
