Cemex U.S. in Colombia seeks an Industrial Technician to execute preventive and corrective maintenance plans, ensuring equipment and plant availability and optimal operational conditions. Key Responsibilities 1. Perform maintenance activities following safety policies and procedures to ensure personnel safety. 2. Ensure all processes adhere to management systems and Standard Work protocols. 3. Understand and comply with authority levels, responsibilities, and accountability within the team. 4. Follow policies related to procurement, ethics, HR, legal, information security, sustainability, and other relevant areas. 5. Maintain compliance with current legislation applicable to the role. 6. Carry out weekly maintenance plans to maintain operational availability. 7. Inspect electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment involved in drying, dosing, and packaging processes, following safety guidelines. 8. Report maintenance alerts, repair needs, or spare parts requests to the supervisor for traceability. Required Skills and Experience - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electromechanical, Electronic, Electrical, or Automation engineering. - Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical maintenance, including pneumatic systems, power transmissions, conveyor belts, bearing systems, and metrology. - Experience in electrical maintenance, circuit handling, power, and control. - Soldering skills are a plus.
