Purpose: You will be responsible for: - Develop solid, comprehensive, and actionable advocacy plans to advance business priorities; ensure proper alignment with the business and coordinate with other functions, such as Legal, Medical Affairs, Health Economics, Regulatory Affairs, and Access - Map major policy trends and identify opportunities and risks for the three businesses; provide analysis and recommendations for action, both on the policy and business fronts - Support GMs at industry trade associations and other organizations, providing insights and strategy recommendations - Develop high-quality briefing materials, talking points, and presentations, both in Spanish and English - Take on leadership positions at trade associations and relevant organizations to ensure that J&J;’s business interests are taken into full consideration - Build advocacy alliances and coalitions with relevant stakeholders - Maintain a network of relationships with think tanks and leading opinion leaders in the field of health care and public health - Meet with high-level government officials and members of Congress; deliver J&J;´s view on policy matters - Represent J&J; at public fora, events, and seminars **Qualifications** Qualifications and requirements: Required Professional Qualifications - At least 10 years of experience in the government affairs and policy field - Experience in the healthcare arena with focus on pharmaceuticals/OTCs, medical devices, and consumer goods a plus - Experience in working with the Colombian government and in-depth knowledge of the Colombian government system and Healthcare policies - Knowledge of issues around market access and health technology assessments, regulatory and legal systems, intellectual property and its role in R&D;, access to medicines in the developing world, market regulation, and competition policy are of key importance - Fluent in English (written and spoken).
