Your Role Work with a team of talented Architects and Interior Designers in bringing design dreams to life as a Gensler Hospitality Architect. What You Will Do - Participate in all hospitality project phases, including conceptual designs, presentations, schematic design, design development, construction documents, and production. - Provide project team coordination for incorporating design intent into the construction documentation. - Collaborate with design team, clients, consultants, contractors, fabricators, specification writers, regulatory agencies, and other vendors to meet overall project objectives. - Produce accurate technical and contract documentation for the construction of the project. - Produce graphic presentations, 3D renderings, and construction drawings. - Utilize hand rendering techniques to communicate design concepts. Your Qualifications- Bachelor of Architecture or foreign equivalent- Licensed or registered architect - 5+ years of related project experience within the hospitality practice area - 100% bilingual English/Spanish, well written with excellent verbal communication skills- Working knowledge of building codes, standards, building construction, and building structures- Construction documentation and design detail development experience- Proficiency in REVIT, Sketch Up, Photoshop, InDesign, and Microsoft office- Additional software skills in AutoCAD, 3d Max, Illustrator, Rhino, Grasshopper, and Autodesk Certified are a plus- Strong leadership, communications, and relationship management skills- Ability to handle difficult situations with tact, grace, and emotional intelligence- Proven fiscal accountability and responsibility on various project types- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills- Strong organizational skills Life at Gensler At Gensler, we are as committed to enjoying life as we are to delivering best-in-class design.
