Responsibilities Lead the design and development of database architecture to meet business requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and usage. Define and enforce database standards and best practices. Evaluate and recommend database technologies and tools. Design and implement data models, schema, and structures. Develop strategies for database security, backup, and recovery. Optimize database performance and conduct regular assessments. Stay updated on emerging database technologies and trends. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to database teams. Participate in capacity planning and scalability assessments. Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience as a Database Architect or in a similar senior database role. Extensive expertise in database design, modeling, and implementation. In-depth knowledge of database management systems (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL). Strong understanding of database security and compliance. Experience with data warehousing concepts and architectures. Proficiency in scripting and database programming languages. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team. Preferred Skills Certification in database architecture or related field.
