About the Role: We are a group of landscaping companies looking to streamline and improve our accounting function by hiring a full-time remote accountant. The role involves managing accounting for multiple entities under a holding structure. You’ll work closely with company stakeholders to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across all financial records. Key Responsibilities: Full-cycle accounting for 4–5 active landscaping companies Maintain and reconcile general ledgers using QuickBooks and QuickBooks Online Prepare monthly financial reports and assist with budgeting Handle accounts payable/receivable, payroll records, and vendor management Communicate regularly with company leadership and other internal stakeholders Requirements: 3–7 years of professional accounting experience Proficiency in QuickBooks and QuickBooks Online Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Bilingual in English and Spanish (spoken and written) Reliable internet connection and ability to work U.S. business hours Age range preferred: 25–35 Compensation & Structure: Monthly compensation: $1,400–$1,800 all-in (includes 30% contractor management fee) Base pay (before fee): $1,000–$1,500 depending on experience Payments are managed through South and sent bi-weekly to the contractor About the Company: We are a U.S.-based holding company with multiple landscaping businesses.
