We are currently looking for a Solutions Delivery Engineer to lead the technical deployment, optimization, and support of complex software and services, ensuring seamless project execution and high-quality service delivery. In addition, this role is vital to support key technical advice, mentoring junior engineers, and contribute to process improvement and innovation. Key Job Responsibilities Oversee and lead end-to-end application deployment, including installation, configuration, integration, and commissioning for new projects. Follow up and provide support to other delivery engineers working in the same project groups. Take ownership and lead complex technical topics during both internal and external meetings. Design and implement integration strategies, ensuring seamless interoperability with existing systems and third-party solutions. Work closely with project managers and solution architects to define technical requirements and ensure successful implementation. Develop and execute proof of concepts (PoCs) for new solutions, validating technical feasibility and performance. Ensure proper documentation and knowledge transfer to relevant stakeholders for smooth handover post-integration. Collaborate closely with R&D, project management, and product teams to ensure alignment between customer needs and technological advancements. Engage in knowledge-sharing initiatives, internal technical training, and documentation enhancements. Manage complex integrations involving APIs, middleware, and high-availability architectures. Provide technical advisory for customers during the implementation phase, ensuring alignment with best practices and industry standards. If you want this position to be yours, we would like you to have the following Degree in Computer Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications Engineering, or related fields. 6+ years of proven experience in software deployment, support, and integration, preferably in mission-critical environments. Availability to travel (not frequent) Location: Colombia Good written and spoken English. Strong experience with database management and SQL (PostgreSQL). Advanced knowledge of high-end server hardware, virtualization, and cloud-based infrastructures. Proficiency in high-availability architectures, including clustering, load balancing, and failover mechanisms. Strong networking expertise, including TCP/IP, firewalls, switches, and VPNs. Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines. Strong programming and scripting abilities (Bash, Python, or equivalent). Experience with enterprise middleware (JBoss, Apache, or Nginx). Familiarity with integration protocols (SOAP, REST APIs, XML, JSON, HTTP POST/GET). Exceptional leadership, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities. Strong communication skills, able to translate complex technical concepts into business terms. Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and work in high-pressure environments. Strong customer-oriented mindset, ensuring satisfaction and technical excellence.
