Implement FinOps best practices to monitor, report, and reduce unnecessary cloud spending. 3. Design and manage cost-efficient AWS architectures (EC2, Lambda, ECS/EKS, RDS, S3). 4. Automate scaling policies, reserved instance management, and spot instance usage for cost savings. 5. Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform or AWS CloudFormation to ensure repeatable, optimized deployments. 6. Improve observability and monitoring (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana) to detect inefficiencies. 7. Collaborate with engineering and finance teams to align cloud usage with budget goals. 8. Implement right-sizing strategies for compute, storage, and databases. 9. Optimize containerized workloads (Docker, Kubernetes) for cost-performance balance. 10. Enforce tagging policies and cost allocation for accountability. Required Skills & Experience 1. 5+ years in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or SRE with a focus on AWS. 2. Hands-on FinOps experience (cloud cost optimization, budgeting, forecasting). 3. Proficiency in AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, EKS, CloudWatch). 4. Strong scripting/coding skills (Python, Bash, or similar) for automation. 5. Experience with IaC tools (Terraform, AWS CDK, CloudFormation). 6. Knowledge of container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS). 7. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline). 8. Understanding of SRE principles (SLIs/SLOs, error budgets). Preferred Qualifications 1. AWS Certified DevOps Engineer / Solutions Architect or FinOps Certified Practitioner. 2. Experience with multi-account AWS environments and Organizations. 3. Knowledge of GCP or Azure cost management (for multi-cloud environments). 4.
