Financial Analyst with a strong analytical background, capable of analyzing and consolidating financial results for reporting to high-level management. The primary responsibilities include providing finance reporting for monthly, quarterly, and yearly budget cycles. The ideal candidate should have experience with the monthly closing process, annual budget process, and financial analysis. This position is fully remote and can be based anywhere in the United States. Key Responsibilities : Drive monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial cycles in support of the Operations Program Manager. Create infrastructure for financial dashboards, including a master dashboard and program-specific dashboards across the team. Conduct monthly financial analysis of program actuals against forecasts, load actuals from multiple finance tools into dashboards, reconcile actuals against forecasts, and demonstrate burn rates for each program. Collaborate with internal finance tools (forecast managers) and provide feedback on tools and processes to the finance team. Hold monthly meetings with Technical Program Managers (TPMs) and/or budget DRIs to reconcile actuals and input forecasts into finance tools. Create monthly reports highlighting discrepancies and follow up with TPMs/budget owners for clarification. Ensure data accuracy, cleanliness, and that it reflects the actuals. Map all POs to correct programs within the finance tool. Support quarterly forecast submissions by working with TPMs and budget DRIs, hosting meetings to gather information and ensure accountability. Assist in annual resource planning, including compiling and submitting requests, creating impact statements, and tracking open invoices. Qualifications : Bachelor’s degree in finance or a related field required. MBA preferred. Experience in business analysis. Proficiency in Excel (VBA, pivot tables, array functions, Power Pivots) and data visualization tools like Tableau. Ability to use data and metrics to derive business insights. Experience in creating detailed reports and delivering presentations. Strong organizational, documentation, communication, and time management skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and contribute effectively in a team. Results-oriented with a focus on achieving desired outcomes.
