With more than 40 years of know-how and building expertise across the region, we’re now considered one of the world’s leading reinsurers and strategic partners end-to-end operating in all lines of Treaty P&C;, F&C;, Life and Health businesses, and Claims handling. **Company** Munich Re **Location** Bogotá, Colombia **The Role** We are looking for a **Process Improvement Specialist** to assist the business and operations areas in identifying improvement opportunities in their processes, to increase efficiency, effectiveness and customer experience. In the context of an Iberia / Latam division-wide agile transformation, You will need to contribute to driving Agile culture in the Regional Centre, lead agile transformation initiatives, and adapt the role and responsibilities to the new divisional set up. You will report to the _Chief Operating Officer_ and be located in Bogotá, Colombia. **Responsibilities**: - Identify the capabilities and resources required for implementing operational improvement projects, define an operational model that guarantees their availability and an adequate management, secure correct execution of the projects. - Define a tool kit of process improvement solutions, aligned to Munich Re's practices and licensing. - Develop and manage a portfolio of improvement projects, including budget planning and execution, resource management, stakeholder orchestration (internal/external), definition of project management indicators and post-implementation operational Indicators. - Develop models for opportunity assessment and investment decisions on operational improvement initiatives. - Communicate effectively with process owners to create awareness of the opportunities and advantages of undertaking improvement initiatives and investing time and resources in their execution. - Maintain effective communication with partners on improvement projects to ensure a high level of engagement and manage expectations. - Ensure an Agile approach to improvement projects and actively participate in the Agile transformation of the organization. **Skills & Experience**: - University degree in Industrial, Production or Process engineering. - 5+ years of experience in continuous improvement processes, with international teams. - Previous experience in the insurance market would be appreciated - Previous experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams (IT / process / business) would be appreciated - Skills: - Strong communication skills. - Strategic thinking, - Ability to handle multiple stakeholders in challenging situations - Analytical and Solution Seeking skills - Open to experimentation and learning - Knowledge of MS Office (PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, Excel) and communication tools (Teams, etc.) - Knowledge of different methodologies such as Agile, Lean, or Design Thinking. - Ability to work effectively with colleagues across departments and with different levels of seniority - Creative and highly organized - Solution-oriented with a focused, proactive, and efficient work style - Excellent English language skills **Benefits**: - Company Bonus (Group Financial Performance Dependant) - Health &Life; Insurance - Company Pension Program - 20 days annual leave plus additional wellness days - Hybrid working - Training & Development Programs **About us** As the world's leading reinsurance company with more than 11,000 employees at over 50 locations, Munich Reintroduces a paradigm shift in the way you think about insurance.
