Somo is looking for a Business Analyst to join our growing Product team across North and South America. The role will initially be focused on Salesforce initiatives for one of Somo’s leading clients, making knowledge of the Salesforce platform a must. We are looking for an individual who is comfortable interacting with clients from both a business and technical perspective, with the ability to understand complex technical concepts and translate the meaning to non-technical stakeholders.Key Responsibilities - You will work with clients and end users to gather, understand, and define business requirements. From this you will develop user stories, specifications, and process flows to support the design and development of Salesforce solutions for our clients. You will be expected to collaborate closely with the engineering team to complete the configuration of user stories focused on Salesforce and AppExchange products. - Responsibilities for the Business Analyst would include: - Identify the business and operational requirements determined by the client objectives and bring together the relevant disciplines within Somo. - Produce BDD requirements, process flows, detailed specifications, and well-defined JIRA tickets. - Work collaboratively with the Experience Design, Delivery, and Engineering teams to ensure successful project delivery. - Support the production of roadmaps and plan future releases. - Manage product backlogs, working collaboratively with clients and internal teams to ensure alignment. - Provide support for the Experience Design and Engineering teams during Sprints. Skills Knowledge and Expertise - Experience using Salesforce to develop client or business solutions (3 - 5 years). - Hands on experience configuring Salesforce, including workflows, validation rules, and security controls (3 - 5 years). - An excellent degree of technical knowledge, particularly at a platform and integration level. - A detail oriented individual, with experience in providing clear, detailed and accurate specifications. - A talent for logically exploring business problems and bringing ideas to the table. - Experience documenting user stories and creating process flow diagrams. - Great communication skills, including persuasiveness with senior stakeholders. - Ability to collaborate effectively with designers and developers and gain respect. - Expertise in using data and user research to build evidence for decisions. - The energy and focus to get stuff done reliably and on time. - Drive and desire to learn and grow both technical and functional skill sets.
