Role Description This position is pivotal in shaping and executing our platform engineering strategy, focusing on infrastructure modernization, scaling CI/CD capabilities, and fostering engineering excellence across the organization. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with cloud-native platforms, infrastructure as code, and automation, combined with strong leadership and collaboration skills. Delivery Engineering Team The Delivery Engineering team develops and enhances systems to accelerate software and infrastructure delivery, primarily by enabling DevOps practices. Our goal is to automate and optimize the 'Golden Path' to production, working closely with development teams to improve resilience, efficiency, and adoption of best practices. We are also exploring the potential to evolve into a fully operational On-Call team, emphasizing operational excellence, reliability, and cost awareness. Key Responsibilities - Designing scalable delivery platforms and CI/CD pipelines - Mentoring junior and mid-level engineers to foster continuous learning - Collaborating with product and engineering teams to align platform capabilities with delivery needs - Leading technical initiatives and platform migrations (e.g., Jenkins to GitLab-CI) - Maintaining high standards for platform reliability, security, capacity, and performance - Participating in hiring, onboarding, and knowledge sharing - Supporting incident management and embedding operational excellence - Promoting cost awareness through observability and performance optimization - Enhancing team skills and setting quality benchmarks - Advocating for non-functional requirements like monitoring, alerting, and logging Requirements - 8+ years in senior or lead roles in infrastructure, DevOps, or platform engineering - Proven leadership in engineering projects and teams, balancing technical and managerial responsibilities - Ability to influence cross-functional teams and prioritize effectively - Experience with cloud platforms (OCI, GCP) and Kubernetes ecosystems - Expertise in CI/CD tools, Infrastructure as Code, container orchestration, and monitoring tools - Strong scripting and programming skills (Bash, Golang) - Understanding of security, SRE principles, and cloud cost optimization - Deep knowledge of Linux systems and troubleshooting - Problem-solving skills and adaptability in a dynamic environment Other Skills and Expectations - Effective communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences - Leadership by example, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement - Mentoring and supporting the growth of team members - Conflict resolution skills and promoting psychological safety - Strategic thinking, prioritization, and embracing change - Emotional intelligence and collaborative influence across organization - Applications must be submitted in English.
