Position Overview We are seeking a Senior Corporate Accountant with technical foundation, strategic mindset, and leadership potential to grow within the Company. This is a rare opportunity to join as the first dedicated Corporate Accountant and take ownership of the company’s day-to-day accounting operations while working directly with the Head of Growth and Finance to build and scale the corporate finance infrastructure. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable rolling up their sleeves to run AP/AR processes as they are presenting financials to senior leadership. Over time, this role will evolve into one focused on oversight, leadership, and strategic financial planning. Key Responsibilities Lead the full-cycle accounting process including general ledger maintenance, journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations Prepare timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP Execute and manage the company’s Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable cycles, including vendor payments, invoicing, and collections. Reconcile bank, credit card, and balance sheet accounts on a regular basis Maintain fixed asset records and calculate depreciation & amortization schedules Drive the month-end and year-end close processes to completion Support external audits and tax filings by preparing schedules and documentation Ensure compliance with internal policies and external reporting requirements Analyze financial performance and deliver insights to the Head of Growth and Finance and executive team Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial data integrity and timely reporting Identify and implement improvements in accounting processes and systems Participate in strategic projects to build scalable finance operations as the Company grows Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; CPA preferred 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in a multi-entity, service-based, or property management environment Strong technical understanding of US GAAP and accounting operations Hands-on experience with AP/AR, reconciliations, and financial reporting Proficiency in accounting systems (QuickBooks Online, bill.com, or other ERP tools) Advanced Excel skills; comfortable with pivot tables, formulas, and financial modeling Self-starter with excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail Clear communicator with the ability to translate numbers into insights Leadership potential and a strong interest in taking on broader responsibilities over time Physical Requirements: • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
