Ruca is hiring a Senior Visual & Brand Designer to join our Colombia team. We’re looking for someone who builds brands that resonate—designers who can make people feel something through bold, beautiful, and thoughtful visuals. You’ll collaborate with our global team to shape brand identities, craft compelling visual systems, and create work that’s as strategic as it is striking. From big-picture ideas to pixel-perfect execution, you’ll bring clarity, consistency, and creativity to everything you touch. Core responsibilities Develop thoughtful, impactful design solutions across web, mobile, print, presentations, social, and more. Lead branding projects from concept through execution, delivering cohesive, differentiated visual identities. Translate complex ideas into intuitive, engaging visuals that balance brand, business, and user needs. Create pitch decks, marketing collateral, and internal documents that are both informative and beautifully designed. Collaborate with other designers to maintain a consistent, high-quality brand experience. Communicate ideas clearly—visually and verbally—with clients and internal teams. Stay sharp on trends, tools, and best practices to keep our work fresh and forward-thinking. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree in relevant field (or equivalent experience). 5-10 years of experience in visual, brand, or graphic design—ideally across both B2C and B2B projects Strong portfolio showcasing multi-channel work (web, mobile, social, print, etc.) Experience creating brand guidelines and building visual systems Agency or startup experience is a plus Skills & Tools: Proficiency in Adobe CC (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Figma Bonus: Familiarity with Premiere and After Effects Strong grasp of typography, color theory, layout, and information design Clear communicator in English—both written and spoken Organized, reliable, and able to manage multiple projects at once A critical thinker who can both follow and challenge design rules when needed Comfortable presenting work and giving/receiving feedback You might be our person if you geek out over great branding, love a well-kerned headline, and have strong opinions about color palettes (but are chill about it). You’re the kind of designer who’s just as comfortable leading a client call as you are deep in Figma, fine-tuning a layout. You don’t wait around for permission—you jump in, figure things out, and make things better. You care about the details, but you never lose sight of the bigger picture.
