At STERIS, we help our Customers create a healthier and safer world by providing innovative healthcare and life science product and service solutions around the globe. **Position Summary**: The LATAM Regional Manager Indirect Channel position is expected to achieve maximum sales profitability, growth, and account penetration within an assigned territory by managing existing accounts, developing new business opportunities, and working closely with distributor partners to help them close and maintain business. This role is also responsible for working collaboratively with distributors, trainers, service colleagues, Customer Service colleagues and other cross functional partners to identify and close new business. The level of interaction with Customer is high and it is necessary to have sales skills and work comfortably with Customers in senior roles (Doctors, OR Directors, Purchasing heads, etc.). The territory assigned considers all south America, Central America and Caribbean and the position in based in Colombia Country. **Duties**: Manage a territory, plan sales activities using good time management and prioritization skills to update the CRM system as required to document Customer information, sales activities, Purchase orders, and other information required by the Company. Create and deliver a quarterly business review to senior managers and colleagues to Conduct quarterly/annual account reviews with each Customer too Plan and conduct (or arrange for) regular educational sessions for Customers, ensuring POs are collected within prescribed timeframes so that business can be properly billed to Resolve Customer issues. Maintain relationships with chapters of local industry groups and Group Purchasing organizations (GPOs) Attain or exceed monthly, quarterly, and yearly assigned region sales and profit expectations by achieving unit and dollar goals on products. Manage time, travel, and sales management activities to maximize effectiveness Identify unique market characteristic in the region and ensure that approved sales strategies are implemented in an effective manner. Recommend changes in strategies to meet the requirements of the marketplace Develop and maintain a close association with key Customers in the region. Work with Account Managers and/or Distributors to ensure the Customer is receiving optimum support. Develop and maintain a close association with key distributors in the region. Develop a relationship to result in sales growth for STERIS. Train Account Managers on the importance of the distributor’s role on the day to day business of the Health Care Group. Responsible for all appropriate paperwork being completed thoroughly in a timely fashion. The physical demands of territory management include but are not limited to carrying your computer bag and product information typically weighing up to 24 lbs., carrying and positioning materials, movement of equipment that may weigh in excess of 1000 lbs., and meeting with customers. Operating room sales and sales management experience preferred. 4. Fluent in English and Spanish, possibly Portuguese as well 5. Demonstrated capability calling on senior department Managers/leaders (OR, GI, SPD, Service line leader) 6. Demonstrated exceptional capability/success selling full suite of products and services (i.e.: good product penetration at his/her accounts) 7. Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively cross-functionally. 8. Industry certifications preferred. 9. Solid system skills (Microsoft Office, Sales/Customer tracking software packages) 10.
