This position reports to our Regional General Manager and is an integral part of our management team. We operate as a region, so you will be responsible for driving the area’s objectives in line with the organizational strategy, adding value for the company and clients. We are looking for a leader with experience and preferably knowledge of the mining market, who is passionate about working with people and promoting their development and growth, with a strong analytical ability to understand and execute strategic objectives. **Key Tasks and Responsibilities** - Drive people leadership across all areas of the organization. - Promote a culture of performance and continuous improvement. - Attract, select, and develop the best talent in the region to form high-performance teams. - Ensure we have a solid internal talent pool performing in their current roles and capable and motivated to develop in new roles within the company. - Strengthen leadership to ensure we have leaders who actively work with people management to create lasting results. - Ensure an agile and lean organizational design with the necessary skills now and in the future. - Promote a learning culture with continuous development and growth. - Actively promote One-HR through collaboration with both regional and central HR teams to deliver an excellent experience for employees and managers. - Drive a change management approach when necessary. - Establish and drive a compensation and benefits strategy, including regional salary adjustments and annual performance calibrations. - Protect labor relations. - Align policies, processes, etc., with other HR management colleagues. - Be a role model for digital and data-driven work. - Lead diversity and inclusion throughout the CVCA region by developing close relationships with all key business stakeholders. - Support the vision of our Epiroc Group by continuously contributing to customer value and a customer-driven culture. - Ensure a safe and healthy work environment. - Ensure adherence to “The Epiroc Way” and the “Code of Conduct.” - This position requires national, regional, and occasional international travel. **Competency, Skills, and Experience Requirements** - Minimum of 10 years of experience in general Human Resources functions, with at least 5 of those years in a Regional HR Management or comparable role. - Knowledge of local HR norms and procedures and related legal issues. - Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or Behavioral Sciences. - Fluency in English and Spanish, both oral and written, is a key requirement. - Experience with SuccessFactors or other cloud-based HR systems is highly desirable. - Experience aligning global HR strategies and objectives with local HR plans and standards. - Experience handling labor legal matters. - Experience in HR transformation initiatives, including digitalization and automation. - Knowledge of agile methods and tools such as Teams. **Personality** - Safety-conscious. - Exceptional leadership and change management skills to significantly strengthen HR teams. - Superior communication skills. - Ability to build relationships and trust and inspire various stakeholders. - Initiative-taking, energetic with a high level of responsibility and loyalty. - Collaborative. - Customer-focused.
