Seeking a junior to mid-level associate (class of 2021 through 2023) with experience in commercial litigation to join our Los Angeles office. Candidate must be barred in California and familiar with the California Code of Civil Procedure and local state and federal courts. Experience should also include drafting pleadings; working on discovery (including eDiscovery); researching and drafting motions and briefs; preparing for witness interviews and/or depositions; and preparing for arguments, arbitrations, hearings and trial. Ideal candidates will have large law firm experience and high level of academic achievement. This position will require some physical presence in Proskauer’s offices on a weekly basis. The anticipated compensation range for this position is $215,000-$415,000. The actual salary offered will be based on a number of factors including but not limited to the qualifications of the applicant, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
